Our client, a globally recognised private equity firm, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their investee in Healthcare Industry in Ho Chi Minh City. The CFO will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering both short-term and long-term strategic financial objectives, driving business strategy, and ensuring overall profitability. This is an exciting chance to contribute to the growth of the healthcare sector in Vietnam.What you'll do:As Chief Financial Officer, you will be an integral part of our client's executive management team. Your role will involve active participation in developing and delivering strategic financial objectives that align with the company's business goals. You will have the opportunity to provide valuable business insights, evaluate M&A transactions, ensure statutory compliance, oversee governance, drive operational excellence within the finance department, and regularly update stakeholders on business performance. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively communicate in Vietnamese and English.
  • Act as a strategic business partner and advisor to the executive management team, contributing actively to business strategy and capital allocation decisions.
  • Provide business insights to increase revenue intensity, create new revenue streams and identify cost savings opportunities.
  • Evaluate and execute M&A transactions with a focus on improving long-term shareholder returns.
  • Work closely with external auditor, tax agent, legal counsel and third-party service providers to ensure timely and accurate filings and compliance with all statutory requirements.
  • Oversee governance, regulatory compliance and all other matters relating to enterprise risk management.
  • Drive business improvements and operational excellence across the Finance organisation.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly comprehensive business updates covering financial and operating highlights to the Board of Directors and shareholders.
What you bring:The ideal candidate for this Chief Financial Officer position is has significant leadership experience in a large multinational corporation. You should be a strategic thinker with exceptional relational skills capable of representing the company well when interacting with external parties such as investors, and strategic partners. Experience in financial stewardship across multiple geographies and a proven track record of managing large scale strategic projects is essential. Hands-on M&A/investment experience and excellent communication skills are also required.
